No entanto, encontrarão outra equipa de exploradores, com intenções menos científicas. Dirigido por Steven Spielberg, tem roteiro de David Koepp. O elenco, no entanto, permaneceu mais ou menos igual ao primeiro filme e mantém um nível e desempenho similar. Muitos especialistas em cinema dizem que as sequelas raramente têm o impacto e a mística do primeiro filme. E se analisarmos este caso vemos que eles estão certos. A mudança de argumentista foi uma catástrofe, não permitindo a este filme atingir um nível parecido ao primeiro. Acabou por ser muito menos interessante e agradável, embora tenha também algumas notas positivas pelo meio. Outro problema são as cenas e momentos que foram, virtualmente, copiadas do primeiro filme, como se a receita do sucesso no cinema fosse um eterno "copiar e colar". O fina, com um dinossauro muito irritado no meio de uma cidade moderna, é tão exagerado que se torna mais apropriado para o "Godzilla". Pessoalmente, não me senti surpreendido. It turned out to be a lot less interesting and enjoyable, though it also had some positive notes in between. Another problem is some scenes and moments that were, virtually, copied from the first film, as if the recipe for success in the movies was an eternal "copy-paste". The ending, with an angry dinosaur in the middle of a modern city, is so exaggerated that it becomes more appropriate for the "Godzilla". Personally, I wasn't surprised. It was one of those movies that I saw, but didn't pay to see again.
